Why we pick it

Works with
eBayDepopEtsyWhatnotVinted

Suits you if you list the same stock on eBay, Vinted and Depop and want to stop retyping it. Its sale detection can delist an item from the other sites once it sells on one.

The guide

Each step in the order you'll need it.

01

Resellers listing on three or more sites

Vendoo fits you if you already have stock live on one marketplace and want the same items on two or three more without retyping titles and measurements. A clothing flipper with 150 pieces on eBay who wants them on Depop and Vinted too is the typical case.

It pays once you list more than a handful of items a week. At five new items a week, copying a listing by hand takes a few minutes and a subscription is hard to justify. At thirty or forty, the hours saved on titles, photos and item specifics add up fast.

On a single platform you gain little from it. If all your sales come from Whatnot shows, a crosslister adds a monthly bill and a second place to keep tidy.

02

Marketplaces, sale detection and plan limits

Vendoo lists eBay, Etsy, Depop, Vinted, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace, Grailed, Vestiaire Collective and Shopify among its marketplaces, plus US-only sites such as Poshmark and Mercari that you can ignore in the UK. Its UK page carries the current list, so read it before you sign up.

Test sale detection first. Vendoo's help centre says it detects sales on eBay, Depop, Whatnot and Shopify among others, then offers to delist the item elsewhere. On Etsy and some other sites you mark the item sold yourself, so build that step into your packing routine.

Each plan caps how many new items you can push a month, and features such as bulk delist sit on higher tiers. Match the tier on Vendoo's current price list to your monthly listing count.

03

Fitting it into your listing routine

Photograph, measure and write each item once in Vendoo, then push it to each marketplace from there. Fill in the fields every platform needs, such as brand, size and condition, before you crosspost, or you will be fixing errors one site at a time.

Give each item a shelf or tub code in the SKU field. After a sale, the code shows you the item's spot and Vendoo shows the other sites it is listed on.

Delist while you print labels. Open Vendoo after each batch of sales, clear the other listings, then pack. Doing it in that order cuts the risk of a second buyer paying for something already in a mailer.

04

List Perfectly, Crosslist or Sortly instead

List Perfectly is the better pick if you sell mostly clothing and want a large community and training videos around the tool. Its auto delist list does not include Vinted, so plan how you would handle Vinted sales before choosing.

Crosslist suits you if you list on eBay, Depop, Etsy and Whatnot and want a lighter tool. New accounts cannot connect Vinted, so a Vinted-heavy shop should go elsewhere.

If your stock sits in tubs and you mainly need to find things, Sortly is an inventory app without crosslisting, and it can sit alongside Vendoo.

05

Working out if the subscription pays

Count the minutes you spend copying a listing to a second site, multiply by your weekly volume and compare it with the monthly fee. At 20 or more items a week across three platforms, the time saved usually covers the cost.

Track sales by platform for a month in Vendoo's analytics. If one marketplace brings in nothing, drop it from your crossposting and save the listing slots for sites that sell your stock.

Review your plan every quarter. If you sell seasonally, such as clearing car boot finds in summer, drop a tier in quieter months.

Common mistakes

Each one costs you money or reviews, and each has a fix.

  • Complete brand, size and condition in Vendoo before you crosspost; missing required fields make listings fail on some sites.
  • Sale detection covers some marketplaces and misses others. Mark sales on the rest by hand or you risk selling an item twice.
  • Listing every item on every platform clutters your shops. Keep slow categories on the one site where they sell.
  • Without a location code you know an item sold but not where it is, so put a shelf code in the SKU field.
  • Match the plan to how many new items you list each month; choosing on features alone wastes money.

Questions

Does Vendoo work with Vinted in the UK?

Vendoo lists Vinted among its supported marketplaces on its UK pages. Test a few listings first and confirm how it handles delisting after a Vinted sale.

Will Vendoo remove an item from other sites when it sells?

On marketplaces with sale detection, Vendoo flags the sale and lets you delist elsewhere. On the rest, you mark the item sold yourself and then delist.

Can I import my existing eBay listings?

Yes, Vendoo can import listings from connected marketplaces so you do not start from scratch. Review imported items for missing fields before crossposting them.

Is there a free plan?

Vendoo has offered a free tier with a small monthly item limit. Limits and tiers change, so read the current price list on its site.

Do I need a computer to use it?

Vendoo has a web app and a Chrome extension for some marketplaces, plus mobile apps. A laptop makes bulk work faster.
