Privacy notice

Seller Setups is run by KHSH Holdings Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16163344, registered office 23-29 Sandy Way, Yeadon, Leeds, England, LS19 7EW). Contact us at hello@sellersetups.com about anything in this notice.

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information, all directly from your browser or from you:

• Identifiers and internet activity: server logs. When you load a page, our host (Vercel Inc.) records technical details of the request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. These keep the site running and secure.
• Internet activity: page view statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page, the referring site, the country, and browser, device and operating system type. It tells visitors apart by a hash of the request that resets every day, so it can't follow you from one day to the next.
• Internet activity: click counts. When you follow a product link through /go/, we record an event with the product, the retailer, the market, the language and the page you came from, through the same analytics service. We don't record who you are.
• Identifiers and the content of messages: if you email us, we keep your email address, your message and our reply.
• Your answers to Sophie (where you sell, what you sell, orders a week) are saved in your own browser, not sent to us, so she can skip those questions next time. "Forget my answers" in her card deletes them. We never receive them, so they aren't collected, sold or shared.

We don't collect names, mailing addresses, payment details or sensitive personal information, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

We use this information to run and secure the site, to learn which pages and recommendations help sellers, and to answer your messages and keep a record of corrections. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to make decisions about you.

Vercel Inc. hosts the site and provides the analytics as our service provider. It may only use the information to provide that service to us.

Our email provider holds messages you send us. We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't pass your details to retailers. We have not done any of these in the last 12 months.

When you follow a link to a retailer such as Amazon, you leave our site. The retailer's own privacy and cookie notices then apply, and it may set cookies to credit us with the sale.

• Server logs: kept by our host for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.
• Page view statistics and click counts: kept in aggregate in the analytics dashboard, with no means of identifying a visitor.
• Emails: up to two years after the conversation ends, then deleted, unless a correction or complaint needs a longer record.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Several other states give their residents similar rights, and we honor these requests from any US visitor.

Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, and we don't use sensitive personal information. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To make a request, email hello@sellersetups.com. You can also ask someone you have authorized to make it for you. We'll confirm we received it within 10 business days and reply within 45 days. We may ask for details to match the request to what we hold, and we can't link most of it back to you. If we can't find anything, we'll say so.

If we turn down a request and your state gives you a right to appeal, reply to our answer to appeal and we'll review it.

The site sells and shares nothing and sets no tracking cookies, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

The site is meant for adults who sell online. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has emailed us, tell us and we'll delete the message.

We update this notice when what we collect changes, for example if we add a tool that sets cookies, and at least once a year. The date at the top shows the latest version. The cookie notice covers cookies and device storage in detail.
