# Needoh and squishy toys

> Squeeze toys, fidgets and squishies. Light and cheap to ship, sold in bundles and on fast live shows.

Squishy toys sell on video: buyers want to see the squeeze. A phone on a tripod and a plain background cover most of your setup.

They're light and soft, so most orders go in a poly mailer or padded mailer. Bag each toy first; some are sticky and pick up dust.

## How to pack it

- Put each toy in a clear resealable bag to keep dust off.
- Ship a single toy in a padded mailer and a bundle in a small box.
- Weigh the packed order and buy the Ground Advantage label for that weight.

Avoid: Keeping stock in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill: some squishies turn sticky in the heat.

- **[Kraft bubble mailers, #0, 100 pack](https://sellersetups.com/us/product/padded-envelopes)** ($16 to $28): Enough padding for a lipstick, a small figure or a sealed booster pack, with no box to fold.
- **[Small corrugated boxes, 25 pack](https://sellersetups.com/us/product/single-wall-boxes)** ($12 to $25): Use these for boxed toys and beauty sets that a poly mailer would crush, when double-wall board costs more than you need.
- **[4 × 6 in thermal labels, 500 fanfold](https://sellersetups.com/us/product/thermal-labels-fanfold)** ($8 to $16): Fanfold stacks feed flat behind the printer and hold more labels than a roll. 4 × 6 in matches the label size USPS, UPS and the marketplaces print.

## Shipping per order

- USPS Ground Advantage, under 1 lb: $6.93 to $8.95. Clothing, cards in a mailer and other small items under 1 lb. Tracked, with $100 insurance included.
- USPS Ground Advantage, 1 to 2 lb: $7.61 to $13.42. Shoes, jeans and boxed items up to 2 lb, tracked with $100 insurance.
- USPS Cubic via Pirate Ship: $6.00 to $15.00. Small, heavy boxes up to 20 lb priced by size, not weight.

## The kit you need

A phone tripod, a plain backdrop and a small light are enough to start. Squishies sell on the squeeze, so your camera setup matters more than your packing table.

For packing, buy padded mailers, a few small single-wall boxes and 4 × 6 in thermal labels. Add small clear bags to keep each toy clean.

## Packing squishy toys

Bag each toy on its own first. Some squishies are tacky and pick up lint and dust in transit, and a dirty toy looks used.

Singles go in a padded mailer. Bundles go in a small box so the toys don't get flattened under heavier boxes.

Squeeze spare air out of the mailer before sealing. A smaller package keeps the dimensions low and the label cheap.

## Storing stock

Clear bins sorted by type and color work well, as long as they stay out of the sun. Heat makes some toys sticky and can fade bright colors.

Don't stack heavy bins on soft stock for weeks. Some toys hold a dent if they're squashed for long.

## Video, photos and listings

Film a slow squeeze and a release for every listing. Buyers want to see how fast it springs back and how it feels, and video shows both.

Put the type, size and color in the title. If an item is part of a limited run, say which one, and show any tag or packaging it came with.

## Selling live on Whatnot and TikTok Shop

Squishies suit fast live shows. Run quick auctions, mystery picks and bundle deals, and squeeze each one on camera before it sells.

Bag and number the stock for the show before you go live. Write the buyer's name on a sticky note as each one sells so packing afterward is quick.

## Shipping and scaling up

Most single toys weigh a few ounces, so they ship in the cheapest USPS Ground Advantage band. Whatnot and TikTok Shop generate the label for you; elsewhere, Pirate Ship gets you commercial rates.

Past 50 orders, pre-pack popular singles in their bags so you only need to add a mailer and label. Reorder mailers before a big show, not after.

## Common mistakes

- Shipping toys loose in a mailer; bag each one first so it arrives clean.
- Storing stock by a window or in a hot car; keep it in bins somewhere cool and dark.
- Listing with still photos only; film a squeeze so buyers see the texture.
- Sending bundles in a mailer; use a small box so they don't get crushed.
- Packing a live show's orders from memory; label each sold item with the buyer's name as it sells.

## Questions

### How do I ship squishy toys?

Bag each one, then ship it in a padded mailer or poly mailer. Bundles of several go in a small box so they don't get squashed.

### Do squishy toys need special storage?

Keep them in clear bins away from heat and sunlight, which can make them sticky or change their color.

### Are squishy toys good for Whatnot live shows?

Yes. They're cheap to ship, quick to demo and suit fast auctions and mystery picks.

### How do I clean a sticky squishy before selling?

Rinse it in mild soapy water and let it dry fully. Test on one toy first, as some materials react badly.

### Can I ship squishies with a stamp?

Not usually. A toy makes an envelope lumpy and rigid, and USPS charges package rates for that. Ship by USPS Ground Advantage, where anything under 1 lb sits in the cheapest band.

### How do I spot fake branded squishies?

Compare the packaging, tags and print quality with photos from the brand's own site. If you can't confirm it, don't list it under the brand name.
