# Cookie notice

> Seller Setups sets no cookies. This page lists the two small items Sophie keeps in your browser, what runs on the site, how retailer cookies work, and what would change if we added analytics cookies.

Seller Setups sets no cookies, essential or otherwise. Sophie, the video guide, keeps two small items in your browser's storage when you use her, and nothing leaves your device. The site shows no cookie banner.

## What runs on the site

- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or device storage. It tells visitors apart with a hash of the request that resets every day.
- Click counting on product links happens on our server when you pass through /go/. Nothing is stored on your device.
- Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser makes no request to a font service.
- No advertising, social media or video embeds, and no third-party scripts besides the analytics above.

## Sophie's browser storage

- presenter-dismissed (session storage): set when you hide Sophie's video tile, so it stays hidden until you close the tab.
- sophie-profile (local storage): your answers to her questions (where you sell, what you sell, orders a week), so she can skip them and pre-fill the builder next time. It stays until you press "Forget my answers" in her card or clear site data.

Both hold only what you chose in her card, are read only by this site in your browser and are never sent to us. Nothing in them is sold or shared, and nothing is used for advertising.

## Retailer cookies

When you follow a product link, you land on the retailer's site, such as Amazon. The retailer may set its own cookies there, including one that credits us with a sale. Those cookies come from the retailer, under its cookie notice, and you manage them on its site.

## If this changes

If we add analytics or any tool that sets cookies or reads from your device, we'll update this notice and the [privacy notice](https://sellersetups.com/us/privacy) first, with each cookie's name, purpose and lifetime. If a tool would count as selling or sharing personal information under state law, we'll add a way to opt out before it goes live.

## Controlling cookies

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies for any site, including retailers you visit from here. Blocking cookies doesn't affect this site.
