# Needoh and squishy toys

> Squeeze toys, fidgets and squishies. Light and cheap to post, sold in bundles and on fast live shows.

Squishy toys sell on video: buyers want to see the squeeze. A phone on a tripod and a plain background cover most of your setup.

They’re light and soft, so most orders go in a mailing bag or padded envelope. Bag each toy first; some are sticky and pick up dust.

## How to pack it

- Put each toy in a clear resealable bag to keep dust off.
- Post a single toy in a padded envelope, which often fits as a Large Letter, and a bundle in a small box.
- Weigh the packed parcel and pick the smallest Royal Mail size it fits, such as Large Letter or Small Parcel.

Avoid: Keeping stock in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill: some squishies turn sticky in the heat.

- **[Kraft padded envelopes, D/1, 100 pack](https://sellersetups.com/product/padded-envelopes)** (£14 to £22): Enough padding for a lipstick, a small figure or a sealed booster pack, with no box to fold.
- **[Small single-wall boxes, 25 pack](https://sellersetups.com/product/single-wall-boxes)** (£8 to £14): Use these for boxed toys and beauty sets that a padded bag would crush, when double-wall board costs more than you need.
- **[100 x 150 mm thermal labels, 500 fanfold](https://sellersetups.com/product/thermal-labels-fanfold)** (£12 to £18): Fanfold stacks feed flat behind the printer and hold more labels than a roll. 100 x 150 mm matches the label size UK couriers and marketplaces print.

## Postage per order

- Royal Mail Tracked 48 Small Parcel: £3.75. Clothing and small boxed items up to 2 kg, with tracking for less than untracked 2nd Class.
- InPost locker to locker, small: £1.99. Flat parcels up to 8 cm deep, such as folded clothes, dropped at a locker and collected from one.
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 Medium Parcel: £5.70 to £12.25. Trainers, homeware and electronics up to 20 kg, tracked and cheaper than untracked 2nd Class.

## The kit you need

A phone tripod, a plain backdrop and a small light are enough to start. Squishies sell on the squeeze, so your camera setup matters more than your packing table.

For packing, buy padded envelopes, a few small single-wall boxes and thermal labels. Add small clear bags to keep each toy clean.

## Packing squishy toys

Bag each toy on its own first. Some squishies are tacky and pick up fluff and dust in the post, and a dirty toy looks used.

Singles go in a padded envelope. Bundles go in a small box so the toys don’t get flattened under heavier parcels.

Squeeze out spare air from the envelope before sealing. A smaller parcel is more likely to fit a cheaper size band.

## Storing stock

Clear tubs sorted by type and colour work well, as long as they stay out of the sun. Heat makes some toys sticky and can fade bright colours.

Don’t stack heavy tubs on soft stock for weeks. Some toys hold a dent if they’re squashed for long.

## Video, photos and listings

Film a slow squeeze and a release for every listing. Buyers want to see how fast it springs back and how it feels, and video shows both.

Put the type, size and colour in the title. If an item is part of a limited run, say which one, and show any tag or packaging it came with.

## Selling live on Whatnot and TikTok Shop

Squishies suit fast live shows. Run quick auctions, mystery picks and bundle deals, and squeeze each one on camera before it sells.

Bag and number the stock for the show before you go live. Write the buyer’s name on a sticky note as each one sells so packing afterwards is quick.

## Postage and scaling up

Most single toys are light enough for a large letter or small parcel band. Check the current Royal Mail size guide so you know which toys fit through the large letter gauge.

Past 50 orders, pre-pack popular singles in their bags so you only need to add an envelope and label. Reorder envelopes before a big show, not after.

## Common mistakes

- Posting toys loose in an envelope; bag each one first so it arrives clean.
- Storing stock by a window or in a hot car; keep it in tubs somewhere cool and dark.
- Listing with still photos only; film a squeeze so buyers see the texture.
- Sending bundles in an envelope; use a small box so they don’t get crushed.
- Packing a live show’s orders from memory; label each sold item with the buyer’s name as it sells.

## Questions

### How do I post squishy toys?

Bag each one, then send in a padded envelope or grey mailing bag. Bundles of several go in a small box so they don’t get squashed.

### Do squishy toys need special storage?

Keep them in clear tubs away from heat and sunlight, which can make them sticky or change their colour.

### Are squishy toys good for Whatnot live shows?

Yes. They’re cheap to post, quick to demo and suit fast auctions and mystery picks.

### How do I clean a sticky squishy before selling?

Rinse it in mild soapy water and let it dry fully. Test on one toy first, as some materials react badly.

### Can I sell squishies as a large letter?

Some singles fit. Measure the packed item against the current Royal Mail large letter size and thickness limits before you choose that band.

### How do I spot fake branded squishies?

Compare the packaging, tags and print quality with photos from the brand’s own site. If you can’t confirm it, don’t list it under the brand name.
